This 1981 collection brings together nude photographs from 41 Japanese photographers, and was edited by famed editor Akira Hasegawa, with Ryuichi Kaneko being listed as "associate editor".

Expected artists like Kishin Shinoyama, Hajime Sawatari, and Nobuyoshi Araki are all here, as well as some surprises like Seiji Kurata and Masatoshi Naito. Other well-known artists represented include Daido Moriyama, Masahisa Fukase, Eikoh Hosoe, Shoji Ueda, and Ikko Narahara, although perhaps more enjoyable is seeing the work of those who in this day and age remain unknown, such as Jiro Futamura, Isao Hirachi, Koro Honjo, and Kira Sugiyama, to name but a few.

Includes an introductory essay by Shiroyasu Suzuki, and an afterword by Hasegawa, both of which are available in Japanese and English, as is the very brief biographical information about each artist.

Condition: Very Good. Some minor foxing on the top end, and the dustcover shows some minor yellowing, as well as the expected surface scratches (which are hardly noticeable).

Hardcover, with dustcover. 26cm x 25cm, 132 pages. Published by Asahi Sonorama in 1981.
