This survey brings together Domon's work from throughout Japan's Showa Era (1926-1989), including his groundbreaking photographs of Hiroshima and the Chikuho coal-mining community, the rebuilding of Japan after World War II, and many of the day's leading actors, politicians, and men of letters.
