Shipping quotes now available
As you know we offer a variety of shipping options at different prices and service levels. This means that the most economic and flexible choice for your order is at the discretion of the customer and not forced on you. In the past it has been difficult to know in advance how much the shipping costs for your order would be. We have improved this by adding a shipping quote facility to the store to view the rates before even creating an account.

Blackbird, Grounded
We have just had notice from SuperHeadz (the manufacturer of the recently released Blackbird, Fly camera) that they are totally sold out and new manufacturing is taking place. New stocks are expected in Mid-November.
UPDATE: New stocks seem to have arrived earlier than expected and we have the BBF available in all colours.
New shipping option: Surface Mail
As an ultra-low budget option aimed at heavy items such as paper we offer Surface Mail service with around 2 months transit time. Surface Mail items have limited insurance depending on weight.
While the transit time is quite long, it is a viable alternative for heavy items that would normally prohibitively expensive to ship. With careful advance planning and ordering could be a great way of lowering your expenses even further.

“Blackbird, Fly” toy camera, MS-MAG 1.15x discontinued
Toy camera photographers, rejoice – the Blackbird, Fly camera is here and it comes in many different colours. The limited editions have all been sold out, but orange, blue and black are readily available. Supply channels for this item are still immature, so please be patient when ordering.
MS Optical informed us that the MS-MAG 1.15x is no longer made. This is due to overall lack of demand, especially Japan domestic market. We have just over a dozen still in stock and once these are gone there will be no more and the 1.35 will be the only choice.
Naniwa Colour Kit N, Smart Metal Lens Hoods, Fuji FI-800GT
Want to take control over your own colour film processing? Then the Naniwa Colour Kit N is the right choice for you. This is a very economic pack to process up 16 rolls of 135-36 or 10 rolls of 120. Using processing drums like the Jobo Expert drums, sheet film should be no problem either. In the case of large format sheet film and the high cost associated with processing them, you should break even easily for the cost of the drum after your first batch already! Obviously this also lets you cross-process your own slide film stock. A colour paper processing kit is also available.
