This is Tsuchida's 3rd book on Hiroshima, and second to feature places and buildings close to the epicenter of the 1945 atomic bombing. In the early 90s Tsuchida returned to Hiroshima to re-photograph places he had shot in the late 70s, from the exact vantage point as the earlier photographs. These are placed side by side on opposite pages. While one would think that 12-13 years wouldn't make a big difference, in fact the opposite seems true more often than not.
You can see photographs from Tsuchida's earlier book of Hiroshima "monuments" here.
Hardcover, with dustcover. 27cmm x 27cm, 114 pages、102 b/w photos. Published by Tosei-sha, 1995.
