Shot at the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site in South Africa in December 2010, German photographer Peter Bialobrzeski looks at the relationship between belief and science. Says the artist:
It is of course not the kitchy place the creationists have hijacked in order to circulate their crude theories of anti-scientific, fascist derivative concepts of christianity. Nevertheless it is this contradiction between science and believe that fuels an emotion to create images of rare beauty.
