Kodansha continues their series of paperback republications of classic and out-of-print Daido Moriyama titles with this reprint of Japan: A Photo Theater (Japanese title: にっぽん劇場写真帖 or Nippon gekijo shashincho), Moriyama's first photo book published in 1968.
Needless to say, it's virtually impossible to get a hold of the original these days without paying an arm and a leg, and even a 1995 reprint commands high prices. If you're interested in seeing the work these Kodansha reprints represent an affordable and attractive option.
