In July of 2013, the musician David Sylvian staged two simultaneously held photographic exhibitions in Japan, one ("Abandon") at the Spiral Garden in Tokyo, and the second ("Hope"), in an abandoned building located in the port town of Uno as part of the Setouchi International Art festival 2013.
The project Abandon/Hope also incorporated two especially commissioned sound installations, curated by Sylvian, including a composition by Taylor Deupree, entitled 'Too Close To Being Far Away From Everything'.
Three special editions were produced to accompany this unique event, and we're offering here the second of two limited editions. This edition is signed by Sylvian, and contains two hardcover books and one play button with the original music composed by Deupree, contained in a hard card sleeve. Only 250 copies of this edition were created.
