Currently on view at BLD Gallery is the first of a five-show Eikoh Hosoe retrospective which will run until May. The first installment features work from Kamaitachi, shot in 1965 and first exhibited in 1968, and collected in the 1969 limited edition photo book of the same name.
From 1995 to 1998, Shoji Ueda had a monthly feature in Asahi Camera magazine titled 印籠カメラ冩眞帖, or inrou kamera shashinchou, which can be loosely translated as "pouch camera photo album".
