Hi, I use tank times minus 10%, but you need to do your own testing. The temperate drift depends on the environmental temperature and the time. You can use a water bath too, like with C-41. But for B/W it is not so critical, especially with times like 10 mins or similar.

Hi Dirk

May I know the time and temp you use in the sheet film via drum processing and how you control the temprature of the chemicals inside the drum since you contantly rolling the drum until the time is up, im sure the temperature will not be the same as you started.

I would like to ask Cristoph Hammann, if it is possible to use some of the photos that he has used in this article for a non-profit chemistry e-journal. I am writing an article about chemistry of photograph and I need some images for the article.
I am waiting for you answer

I've seen other kits with separate bleacher and fixer, but blix seemed to work well enough here. What's the disadvantage of having the two combined?
One disadvantage of separate bleach seems to be that it is HazMat that some (most ?) suppliers wont ship because of the regulations involved.

I would never trust any of those kits with a combined BLIX, the way C-41 is designed, a separate bleach and fixer step are required.
