A good photo podcast at last

Bookmark and Share

I have been looking for a decent photography related podcast for a long time, and all I found was technique, technique and digital photography technique. Just like photo magazines really.

Then I came across Jeff Curto’s History of Photo recorded lectures. A must-hear for anyone not having studied photography or the visual arts. Even better when not seeing the pictures he is talking about!

Happy New Year!

somehow I can’t find any mp3 links there. Also RSS feeds is just links back to his page, not to any sound files. Could you help me?
    Thanks!

Changed the link. It’s under “Handouts, Lecture Slides and Lecture Audio”. Or use iTunes to search and to subscribe.

Thanks for the kind words about my podcast.

We were on holiday break, so there weren’t any episodes to post during that time. I’d not started podcasting my class until mid-term last term, so if you’re still interested, you can “start at the start” with this week’s post. You can get it from this link: http://www.cod.edu/photo/curto/1105/handouts.htm or subscribe through the iTunes Music Store.

Thanks, and I appreciate your interest!

(I had “unlinked” the previous episodes from the class web page so as not to confuse the new students, but last term’s class podcasts are still available from the iTunes store)

The Lens Work podcasts are great too. They focus on the fine art side of photography and is more inspirational than technical…Good stuff.
